Located in Kurow, at the base of the Waitaki lakes, our school is a Year 1-8 modern, purpose-built learning environment, with a current roll of 102 students (U3).

Our School mission;  Our Place – To Belong, To Learn, To Achieve, and Our Values:  To Be G.R.E.A.T underpin what we as a community want for our students.

We are seeking an experienced pedagogical leader who has an excellent understanding of best practice teaching and can build strong relationships with whanau and our wider community.  A person who encourages collaboration, has excellent communication skills and can continue to build on the schools’ mission, vision and values.

Our new Principal can look forward to the support of a dedicated staff, an engaged BOT and a fantastic community.

A school house is available in Kurow.

Applications close 3pm Friday 10th May.  Email  for an application pack.  If you have any questions then please contact Emma Bell, BOT Chair on 027 4360 132.

Due to our Deputy Principal stepping into the Acting Principal role for 5 weeks (June 4 - July 5), we require a teacher for our G.R.E.A.T children.  The role is in a Yr 7 & 8 Homebase and involves teaching Yr 4-8 across a collaborative environment, in our purpose built school.

The role can be either 0.8 (Monday-Thursday) or full time for the five weeks. You would be working with a supportive team, with G.R.E.A.T kids, in a very supportive community.
